ObligoBoard v1.3 — What's New

We have been busy building, testing, and refining — and today we are excited to share what is new in ObligoBoard v1.3. This release focuses on three areas: better compliance visibility, smoother team workflows, and performance improvements across the board.

Redesigned Compliance Dashboard

The dashboard now surfaces your compliance posture at a glance. A new score breakdown card shows how each framework contributes to your overall score, making it easy to spot which areas need attention. Charts load faster thanks to server-side data aggregation, and the layout adapts cleanly to smaller screens.

Evidence Pack Export

You can now generate and download a complete evidence pack for any framework. The export bundles your obligation statuses, uploaded evidence files, and completion timestamps into a structured PDF — ready for an auditor or supervisory authority. Evidence packs are available on the Starter plan and above.

Team Collaboration

Version 1.3 introduces organisation-level roles. Account owners can invite team members as Admins or Members, each with appropriate permissions. Task assignments now support notifications, so the right person is alerted when a deadline approaches or when a task is reassigned.

Invitation Flow

Invitations are sent by email and can be accepted from a simple landing page — no account creation needed if the recipient already has an ObligoBoard account. Pending invitations are visible in the Settings panel.

Activity Feed

A new activity feed on the dashboard shows recent changes across your organisation: completed tasks, uploaded evidence, score changes, and team membership updates. This provides a lightweight audit trail without leaving the main interface.

Performance and Reliability

Behind the scenes, we migrated several API routes to edge-compatible patterns and reduced average response times. The obligation list now supports pagination for organisations tracking a large number of tasks, and we fixed a handful of UI inconsistencies reported by early adopters.

What Is Next

We are already working on the next set of improvements, including multi-framework gap analysis, scheduled compliance reports, and deeper integrations with document storage providers. If you have feedback or feature requests, reach out through the in-app contact form — we read every message.

Thank you for choosing ObligoBoard. Your compliance journey just got a little easier.
