Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They help websites remember information about your visit. We also use sessionStorage, which works similarly but is cleared when you close your browser tab.
Our approach
ObligoBoard uses essential cookies only. We do not use any analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking cookies. We do not track you across websites.
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| authjs.session-token | Keeps you signed in. Contains an encrypted session token (JWT). Set as httpOnly so it cannot be accessed by JavaScript. | Essential | Session (expires after 24 hours of inactivity) |
| ob_region | Remembers your region and currency preference (EU/EUR or UK/GBP) so we show you the correct pricing. | Essential | 365 days |
| checkout_preselections_applied | Tracks whether your billing plan preselection has been applied during checkout. Uses sessionStorage (not a traditional cookie). | Essential | Browser session (cleared when you close the tab) |
| ob_cookie_consent | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie banner so we do not show it again. | Essential | 365 days |
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics for basic page-view metrics. Vercel Analytics is cookieless and privacy-friendly — it does not set any cookies, does not track individual users, and does not collect personal data.
Third-party cookies
ObligoBoard does not set any third-party cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising networks, social media plugins, or chat widgets.
Font Awesome icons are loaded from a CDN, which may receive your IP address as part of the HTTP request. No cookies are set by Font Awesome.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent ObligoBoard from functioning correctly (for example, you will not be able to stay signed in).
